Dakdan Academy Opens Senior Professional Track for Mentors and Managers

COLORADO — Dakdan Academy, the workforce development arm of veteran-owned media holding company Dakdan Worldwide, is recruiting experienced professionals into a new senior track built around mentoring, coaching, and project leadership across its sports and media divisions.
The program, Senior Professionals: Mentors and Managers, is designed for people with years of operating experience behind them who want to transfer that experience to the next generation of sports and media professionals. The track covers six areas of contribution: mentoring, coaching, project leadership, business development, community programs, and operational guidance.
Dakdan Worldwide reports processing more than 2,000 interns annually across its divisions, with a 75%+ military-to-civilian employment success rate through its workforce programs. Senior professionals in the new track work directly alongside that pipeline, reviewing work, teaching the mechanics of client relationships, and leading projects that interns and early-career staff help deliver.
Where Senior Professionals Fit
Roles in the track fall into two broad shapes:
- Mentors and coaches who take on a small group of early-career professionals, meet with them on a regular cadence, and give direct feedback on real assignments.
- Managers and project leads who own an initiative end to end, from scoping through delivery, with a mixed team of senior staff and emerging talent.
Opportunities are available online through Dakdan’s fully remote operating model and in local markets where its sports and media divisions run venue, event, and community programs. Candidates can explore both through the careers page.
Experience That Transfers
Dakdan Worldwide operates across sports marketing, media and publishing, SaaS and automation, human capital, data analytics, and government and training. The senior track draws on that range: a former account director may mentor business development, while someone from venue operations may lead logistics for a community program.
The company’s founder, Dan Kost, is a service-disabled veteran who built the holding company from a network of brands in sports, entertainment, and advertising.
“Experience is only worth what you hand off,” said Dan Kost, founder of Dakdan Worldwide. “Someone who has closed the deals, run the venues, and managed the teams carries knowledge that no curriculum covers. Our job is to put that person in front of people who need it and give them real work to do together.”
How to Apply
Experienced professionals can review open opportunities and submit an application at https://sportsmedia.net/careers. Both online and local-market roles are listed there.
